Privacy Policy

Selenne Business Suite ("SBS", "we", "us", or "our") is operated by Selenne Strategies, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, share, retain, and delete information when you visit our website or use the SBS platform.

Information We Collect

We may collect account information, contact details, company and business information, subscription details, usage activity (including IP address, browser type, access times and visited pages), and information you choose to enter into the platform. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and SBS does not store full payment card numbers on its servers.

Workforce Records and Employee Documents

Company-authorized users may enter employment and contact information, compensation and Payroll details, time and leave records, policy receipts, and employee documents. Access depends on company roles and permissions. Companies are responsible for obtaining the rights and permissions needed to upload these records and for managing access within their workspace.

Ending employment or removing employee access does not automatically delete the employee's records or documents. Eligible deletion requests and retained records are handled under the retention and deletion practices below.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and secure the SBS platform, manage accounts and subscriptions, operate user-facing business features, provide support, communicate service or policy updates, maintain business records, and improve the functionality and reliability of SBS, and comply with legal obligations.

Google Analytics 4 Integration

SBS allows an authorized company user to optionally connect a Google Analytics 4 ("GA4") property. When a user chooses to connect Google Analytics, SBS requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/analytics.readonly permission. This is a read-only permission.

SBS uses this permission only to retrieve Google Analytics reporting data needed to provide the user-facing website analytics feature inside SBS. The data may include aggregated or derived reporting information such as sessions, active users, traffic channels, reporting periods, and related website-performance metrics for the GA4 property selected and authorized by the user.

SBS does not use this permission to create, modify, or delete Google Analytics properties, settings, events, or Analytics data. SBS does not send CRM contact names or email addresses to Google Analytics as part of this reporting connection.

Storage of Google Analytics Data

SBS does not store the Google OAuth access token used to retrieve Google Analytics reporting data. SBS may store the numeric GA4 property ID selected by the user and the latest cached aggregate Analytics report so the reporting feature can be displayed and refreshed within the user's SBS account.

Google User Data Use and Limited Use

Google user data and any aggregated, anonymized, or derived information obtained through Google APIs are used only to provide or improve user-facing SBS features that the user has chosen to use.

SBS does not sell Google user data, transfer it to data brokers or information resellers, use it for targeted or personalized advertising, use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes, or use it to train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Selenne Business Suite's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Share Information

SBS does not sell personal information or Google user data. We may disclose information to service providers that are necessary to operate, host, secure, support, or process payments for SBS, and only as needed for those services, under appropriate confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the platform, or in connection with a business transaction where legally permitted, such as a merger or acquisition, with notice to you. Transfers of Google user data remain subject to the Limited Use restrictions above.

Google Analytics user data is not shared with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for their own independent marketing, advertising, lending, or profiling purposes.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user information. These measures include authenticated account access, access controls, and encrypted HTTPS connections when data is transmitted to or from SBS. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide SBS, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

For the Google Analytics integration, the selected GA4 property ID and the latest cached aggregate report may remain in SBS until one of the following occurs: the data is replaced by a newer report, the user requests deletion, the related SBS account or company data is deleted, or the information is no longer needed to provide the Analytics feature.

Users may request deletion of stored Google Analytics connection information, cached Analytics reports, or other eligible SBS account data by contacting info@selennestrategies.com. We will verify the request as appropriate and remove eligible information from active SBS systems, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or recordkeeping requirements that may require limited retention.

Users may also revoke SBS access to their Google Account through their Google Account permissions. Revoking authorization prevents SBS from obtaining new Google Analytics data using that authorization. Previously stored SBS connection information or cached reports may remain until they are deleted under the practices described above.

Third-Party Services

Optional third-party account connections use the permissions you authorize. We do not access data in your third-party accounts without your authorization.

SBS may integrate with or rely on third-party services such as Google, Firebase, Stripe, and other providers needed to operate the platform. Your use of a third-party service may also be governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy. Information received and stored by SBS is handled according to this Privacy Policy.

Rapid Record Browser Companion

The optional SBS Rapid Record Companion displays the secure SBS Rapid Record experience in a browser side panel. The companion does not read or change the website beside the panel, collect browsing history, or store SBS passwords, transaction records, or company data inside the extension. Account, authentication, receipt, and financial information that you choose to enter is sent directly to the SBS platform over HTTPS and is handled under this Privacy Policy. The companion uses only the browser permissions required for its stated functionality and does not sell or use user data for advertising.

Your Choices

You may update certain account information through SBS, revoke third-party authorization through the applicable third-party service, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of eligible information.

Children's Privacy

Selenne Business Suite is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through SBS.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we handle user information, we will update this page and the effective date and notify users through the platform or email.
